As a lot of people obviously saw is that it doesn't stick to every details of the book. But wtf? if it did it would be so much boring, we would know exacly how everything ends ... Read more

I can't tell you how much I love the show because it brings me back to a time in my life when I was in the military and life was quite lonely, throughout all those long deployments. I sought comfort in the Sword of Shannara and all of the Sword of Truth series books. True, the show doesn't come close to the book, but what show or movie does? I love it, especially after seeing the most recent episode where Kahlan finally has the power to release the kandar blood rage...AWESOME! My inner geek is coming back out, now as an older man.
