Two years ago, Agent Reynolds was deep undercover, acting as an enforcer for an extortionist. When a witness in the case is murdered despite being in protective custody, Lightman and Foster demand to be brought in on the case, first to assist in finding out who leaked the details of the custody, then to protect Reynolds, who refuses to testify, from actions he took which he believed were sanctioned, yet there is no record of his authorization papers in the Federal documents on the case. What did Reynolds do that was so horrible?
