Recap

The scene opens with a group of burglars breaking in. The owners wake up the owners and the man of the house attempts to stop them. He is thrown over the rail and he is dead. The scene cuts to Covington Youth Center three months later. Ava and Marlie enter in a storage room and Marlie gives Ava a jeweled egg and tells her to watch it for her. She agrees that she will. Lightman is teaching Emily how to drive and like every father, he is a little nervous. He tells that she can parallel park she uses the technology and Lightman tells that she can’t cheat. As she backs up, Lightman yells and Emily crashes into a fire hydrant. They arrive home and Lightman tells that he is paying for the damages. Torres enters and she has gotten a message from her a girl saying that she needs help and that things are going wrong. She wants to know what Lightman makes out of the message. Lightman wants to know who the girl is. It is Ava, her sister...
