The scene opens with a street fight and Lightman is there attending. He tells one of the fighter’s coaches, Simone that Raul is going to knock out Orlando. As it happens, Raul knocks down Orlando and he wins the fight. After the fight Lightman walks out with a drunken Raul and offers to take his keys from him. Raul fights him off and scratches him. A man walks out and sees Lightman and Raul and asks if everything is alright. Lightman tells that everything is fine and Raul tells that he is going to take the bus home. Lightman gets in his car and drives away. Raul goes to the bus and tells that he doesn’t have any money and asks to get a free ride home, but the driver doesn’t let him. Raul goes back to his car and the door is locked. Raul turns around and is shot three times in the chest. The man from earlier comes out and finds Raul on the ground dead.

Foster and Dr. Burns are in bed together and she has not told anyone about their relationship. She tells that she will tell everyone in due time. Burns’ phone gets a message and he is in the shower. Foster gets it and the message reads “Marco, are we still on for tonight?” Foster sees a U.S. Passport and the picture is of Burns but the name reads Marco Gianelli. She quickly puts it back. In the Lightman Group, Bernard Dillon is there and Lightman sees that Raul was killed last night and Dillon tells that he was found in an illegal fight. He tells that Marshall has already slipped through their fingers before. There is a history between Lightman and Dillon. He tells that there is a witness that places a man in a heated argument. Lightman meets with Simone and she tells that Orlando is innocent and Marshal is upset and wants to know who killed Raul. She tells that Orlando and her were shooting pool and that she wants Lightman’s help. He tells that she needs to tell
Lightman calls Reynolds in his office and tells that the skin cells that were in Raul’s fingernails is his and tells Reynolds to loose the DNA results because Dillon has it in on him and tells that he will push for an arrest and Lightman will loose custody of Emily. Torres is looking at the phone footage and sees a clip where Lightman is in it. She takes the clip and deletes it. Dillion walks in and asks if he can sit in on it. She tells it takes a few hours and that it is boring. He tells her to inform him when she is done with it. Loker comes in and asks if she wants him to take over and she readily agrees. She runs out and tries to call Lightman and he has already left the building. Lightman meets Marshall and tells that he can help their problem by reading Orlando’s face and tell if he is lying. Marshall agrees and Lightman tells that Orlando is telling the truth, but Marshall doesn’t really care. They are interrupted and Torres has followed Lightman. Using an alias, Sabrina, Torres asks if he needs more fighters. Marshall tells that she doesn’t ask there and that she needs to ask elsewhere. Outside Lightman tells Torres that she is off the case and Torres just wants to know and tells that she cut him out of some footage of the fight from a cell phone.
Dr. Burns surprises Foster in the office and tells that he was discrete and nobody noticed. He cancels their meeting because he tells that he has a meeting with some Foster Parents for the youth center and makes it up with a bottle of wine. In Lightman’s office, Reynolds calls for the DNA results be pulled and tells that his name is Carl Williams. Dillon runs in and asks where Lightman is. Reynolds tells that he doesn’t know. Dillon tells that they found Raul’s brother Juan and they need someone in with him. Foster meets with Juan and he tells that Raul left Peru to make a lot of money. Foster sees that he is upset about something else. Juan tells that Raul betrayed the family. After finding that Marshall is still holding Orlando, Lightman and Simone start a fire at the warehouse Marshall is holding him and use it as a diversion and rescue Orlando. At a restaurant, Lightman sees that Orlando is shameful about something and Lightman accuses him for throwing the fight. Simone tries to step in but Orlando tells that he did through the fight because Raul said that the Shining Path guerillas were after him and that he needed the money.

At the Lightman Group, Dillon finds out that the DNA tests were pulled and tells that he wants them back on. Back in the video room, Loker tells Torres that parts of the video are missing and attempts to look for them. Torres tells that she will continue to do the video. Dillon walks in and tells that he is looking for Lightman and Torres tells that he may have gone to lunch. Dillon tells that he has “someone of interests” and she volunteers to help. Upon entering the “person of interest” is Marshall and he recognizes her. In the room, Torres tells that Marshall is not lying about his involvement in the illegal fights and Dillon tells that he doesn’t believe Torres and thinks that she is scared. Lightman goes into Foster’s office and doesn’t say anything. But Foster can tell that he knows of her relationship with Burns and comes clean. He tells that he doesn’t care. Dillon comes in and tells that they have a witness that they would like Lightman to interview. Lightman asks if Foster could do it.
In the interview room with the man from the beginning of the episode, Foster asks about the description of the man that he saw. Upon looking at Lightman’s picture, he tells that he looked like him. Meanwhile, Lightman meets with Reynolds and asks about the Shining Path guerilla group and he tells that they are a small organization out of Peru. Lightman tells that Raul was scared of them. Reynolds asks why he cares about Raul. He tells that the DNA results are going to be there in a few hours. The witness spots Lightman and tells that he is the guy that was fighting with Raul. Lightman gets in his face and tells that he is mistaken. Dillon asks where Lightman was and he tells that he was with Reynolds and he confirms it. Lightman goes over the video footage with Torres and they spot fear in Raul’s eyes. They pan over the frames and find a man in a cowboy hat and a car calm while the rest of the crowd were going crazy. Foster meets with Reynolds and tells that she has a friend who has a boyfriend that is acting suspicious. He tells that anyone who is renting a boat for a few hours is usually a smuggler and if she could get the passport and cell phone of her “friend’s” boyfriend, they could look into it.
Reynolds is called into see Dillon and he tells Reynolds that Carl Williams never called off the DNA results and asks what is going on. Lightman enters and shows Dillon a picture of Lightman at the fight. Dillon finds out that Lightman was there to study faces and he doesn’t believe him. Lightman tells that he hid it from Dillon because of the fact that he stopped Dillon from being promoted for a few years. Lightman tells that he was afraid that Dillon was going to take his “payback”. Lightman then shows Dillon the picture of the mystery man leaning against the car. Foster goes to Burn’s place and tells that she lost an earring. Burns shows his passport for Marco and she asks who he is. Burns comes clean that he is a DEA agent who is working undercover for Covington to spy on gangbangers linked to the drug cartel. He tells that he didn’t want to lie to her and that his real name is Dave Atherton. She forgives him.

They find out that the mystery man was Raul’s brother Juan and Lightman questions him. He tells that he didn’t kill Raul and Lightman shows that he belongs to the Shining Path guerrillas and Juan calls himself a revolutionary to the cause. Just before he gets Juan in his trap, Dillon tells Juan that he is free to go. Later that night, Orlando meets Juan. The FBI is monitoring with Lightman and they are feeding the questions. Orlando tells that Raul was happy to be able to go back home and tells that after the fight he was happy to join his brother. But when Juan met with Raul in the afternoon, Raul was against it. Juan confesses to murdering his brother. The FBI move in and arrest Juan. Later in the office, Foster introduces Dave to Lightman and Lightman tells him to handle Foster with care and Foster tells that Lightman should have told her what was going on. Lightman tells that everyone can have their secrets if they want to.
