The scene opens with Lightman and Foster pretending to be a married couple and ask Olson, a porn producer to be the star of their own movie so that they can have a nice present for each other on their anniversary. Olson asks what the theme is and Lightman says that it has to be kinky. They request a three-way with a woman from another movie and Olson tells that she “left the business” after looking at a file. He suggests a girl named Amber. Foster puts down a wad of cash and asks for the real number to the girl. Back at the office, Lightman and Foster talk about their acting and Emily tells Lightman that he agreed to allow her to follow him in his job as part as a journalism project. Lightman tells her to wait for another case and Emily tells that she already knows the case of Coach Dawkin’s 18-year-old daughter, Molly, was kidnapped and that Amy, Molly’s younger sister, told Emily that Lightman was on the case. Lightman decides to allow Emily to follow the case with him to only observe.

Lightman tells the coach that Olson did not know where Molly could be, and Lightman believes that he is telling the truth. Coach Dawkins takes a moment to think what his wife, who passed away, would have thought about Molly working as a porn star. Lightman tells that she would be proud that he is trying to do everything he can to find Molly. Lightman enters and gives Loker and Torres a bunch of Porn movies and tells that the first to find anything that they could use will get promoted. Lightman tells her to get a memo from both of them to point out why they would want to take the promotion. Loker and Torres tell each other that they are going to play nice. Lightman visits Lacy, a porn star who says that Molly’s nickname was “Cassidy”. She tells that she met her on a movies and that she was roommates with her. Lacey tells Lightman that Molly left porn a while ago and says that Molly never really talked about her childhood at all. Later, Lightman and Foster ask Coach Dawkins if Molly was molested while living in the home. He denies it and Lightman says that he is telling the truth, but there is more and that he is feeling guilt.
Amy and Emily are talking and Coach comes in and tells that they tried everything. Foster asks Amy as they are leaving and asks about the truth. Emily asks if there was something that they were hiding and Lightman tells that they are. Reynolds digs up a medical bill for the name Cassidy and it is billed to a different address then they have. Lightman, Foster, and Reynolds visit the address but no one is home it appears. Reynolds goes around to the back yard and catches a man trying to run away. They bring the man doing porn without a license in the house and ask about Molly. They go upstairs and Molly is found inside and she doesn’t want to go home, but says that she will stay with Lightman. Emily talks with Molly and Foster tells that her family misses her. Molly tells that her dad killed her mom. Her dad and mom used to fight all the time and when she was five-years-old, she heard someone fall down the stairs. It was her mother and her dad didn’t check her at all. Molly tells that she believes that he killed her and that she is just remembering this after a fight with a boyfriend. Lightman asks if she actually saw her father push her mother down the stairs.

Reynolds and Lightman go back to Mr. Dawkins and he tells that the death of his wife was purely accidental and he is arrested until further notice. It is just a bluff to take away Amy too. Amy runs outside and sees her dad in the car. Reynolds and Lightman tell her to calm down. Meanwhile, Molly is wondering if anyone could love an ex-porn star. Foster knows that Molly is still hiding something. Foster tells that Emily makes Molly feel better and she tells Emily that she should be close by. Emily is a little shy but agrees. Loker and Torres are at the Lightman Group and Torres sees Loker’s letter and they talk about the competition that Lightman put them on and they decide it is best to work together instead of separate because it is the least thing that Lightman would suspect. Foster sits down with Molly and asks what she would want her sister to know and she tells that it would be good for her not to see her because she is toxic. Foster talks to Molly and she tells that she is HIV-positive to Foster and tells that she never did drugs, just had sex on camera. Emily, hearing this, is shocked. Foster tells that they will get her the proper care. Torres and Loker start drinking after work to pick each other’s brains and they play “Two Truths, One Lie”. Torres tells that Loker’s statement “I want to kiss you” is true and this causes them to kiss. Meanwhile, Lightman goes to the Lightman Group and tells Mr. Dawkins that Molly is HIV-Positive and asks him if Dawkins will tell about Molly’s memory of her mother’s death. Lightman tells that if he is going to put Molly and him in the same room, he needs a good reason. He admits that his wife and him were fighting while Molly was watching cartoons about a “monkey” left her things on floor and Molly left toys around the house. They told her to stop but she kept doing it. He tells that her mother slipped and fell. Dawkins tells that he covered it up so that Molly wouldn’t go through her life knowing that horrible incident. Lightman tells Amy and Mr. Dawkins that Molly doesn’t need to know the truth. Foster tells that the truth will put Molly into a bad position. Lightman wants to have a nice family reunion of them all. Amy tells that she has a plan to make that happen.
The next morning, Loker asks Torres talk about the promotion and their intimate encounter and Anna tells in and tells that one of them are going to be promoted. Loker tells that last night is more important then the promotion but Torres tells if Loker doesn’t take the promotion, she will. Lightman and Foster go visit Olson again and tells that four other actresses have tested positive for HIV. He tells that it is from her “off-camera” sexual encounters that are to blame. He gives their information. At the Lightman Group, Reynolds talks to Lee Fentris, a porn actor who worked with all the actresses involved. He tells that he is checked for HIV before every shoot. Lightman tells that he gave them HIV and tells that he has nothing to be remorseful and gives Reynolds the results of his blood test says that he is clean. Lightman visits the doctor that gave the tests and he tells that he never falsified them. When Reynolds comes in, he threatens the doctor with accessory to murder and this causes Reynolds to arrest Fentris. Lightman allows Dawkins to talk to Fentris but is restrained when he attempts to punch him. Emily sees the entire thing. Lightman tells Molly to speak to Amy and tells that Amy is responsible for the death of their mother. They hug and Lightman tells her father needs to be able to hear this too and they both agree. The family is reunited and Lightman, Foster, and Emily leave.

Meanwhile, Loker alerts Torres that he got the promotion and offers to take her out, but she wishes she could and calls him “Boss”. Emily is writing her story for journalism essay and Emily asks Lightman if he is upset of the lie that Amy told Molly. Lightman tells that a lie is never good, even if it saves the family or a life. He tells that he hopes he got this one correct. Emily asks if he would lie to protect her and he tells that he would never have to do that but Emily pushes and he admits that he would. She tells that she would too and deletes the story. She tells that she will tell her teacher that her dog ate it.
