Jeffrey Buchanan, one of Cal's oldest friend, asks him to find the researcher that leaked a formula to fight diabetes. The street formula is killing people and they do not want a class action on their hands. They find the person rapidly but it's not what it seems. The researcher explains that the company"s product is the one killing people and there is no difference between what she sold and what they're making.
Cal still is convinced that Jeffrey does know anything that is going on in the pharmaceutical company and try to prove it while Ria argues against his position.
Gillian and Eli helps the DOD in negotiations with the Sudanese authorities to get two Americans back who have been arrested for possession and are on the brink of being sentenced to death. Eli and Gillian realize that the DOD wants the woman more than her brother. There is only one explanation: she's a spy.
