• Life on Mars show reaches climax. |
The finale of the award-winning culture-clash detective drama Life on Mars is to be broadcast on BBC One.
Over two series, fans have seen 21st Century policeman Sam Tyler, played by John Simm, struggling to cope with waking up in 1973 after a car crash.
The finale promises to finally answer Tyler's continual question: "Am I mad, in a coma or back in time?"
The first series won an international Emmy, and a spin-off set in the 1980s is already planned.
