John Shea, plays the role of Superman's adversary, Lex Luthor. Lex Luthor is profoundly known as the arch nemesis of Superman. In this TV version, the producers decided not to portray Lex as a bald guy. His other traits remains the same, debonair millionaire who tries to challenge himself. The moment he knew about superman, he made it his agenda to find out who Superman is and to acquire his abilities.
John Shea only appeared on season 1 as a regular cast member when Lex's character was killed off. This may have to do with the misunderstandings between Shea and the producers since Shea lived in New York and the series was filmed in Los Angeles. He, however, appeared again several times in the remaining 3 seasons of the series. |
