Katherine "Kate" Austen, played by Evangeline Lilly
Kate is the seemingly nice, helpful girl, with a shady past. She was on Flight 815 because she was being extradited back to the US to be charged with the murder of her stepfather.
She accidentally got her childhood sweetheart killed in a car crash she caused when eluding police.
Kate seems to have feelings for both Jack and Sawyer - she's kissed them both, and though she clearly has feelings for Sawyer, her heart seems to belong to Jack.
Kate is both tough and vulnerable, smart and more than capable, but is always trying to run away from something. |
