Charlie Pace, played by Dominic Monaghan
Charlie Pace is is a former rock star and druggie. His addiction to heroin has strained his relationships with both Claire and Locke. Despite the abundance of heroin that was discovered on the island, Charlie has managed to stay clean...although temptation certainly reared its ugly head more than once. His renewed interest in the church has led to a surprising friendship with Eko, the island's priest, and consequently his work on building a church on the island.
Charlie feels betrayed by his older brother, Liam. They were the leading members of the band, "Driveshaft", but the band fell apart first to Liam's drug use, and then because of his entering rehab and getting his life back on track. Because Liam is the one who got Charlie to try heroin in the first place, Charlie remains very bitter about this.
Charlie would do just about anything for Claire and her son, Aaron...including murder the one man who threatened them both---Ethan. |
