Ana Lucia Cortez [S02-??], played by Michelle Rodriguez
Ana-Lucia is a tough-cookie cop from LA. She ended up on Flight 815 after leaving Christian Shepard's hire in Sydney when he decided ot go on a drinking binge. Unbeknownst to her, she began flirting with Christian's son, Jack, in the Aussie airport bar.
Ana-Lucia was pregnant when she was deceived by a criminal and shot on the job. Rather than pursue her attacker through the justice system, she went after him vigilante-style, a style she has continued once on the island.
Her quick-thinking (though hard-hearted) ways helped keep the Tailies alive on the dangerous part of the island where they crashed.
In the jungle, she mistook Shannon for an attacking "Other", and killed her. Ironically, she too met the same fate when another of the survivors shot her point-blank in the chest. |
