Libby [S02-??], played by Cynthia Watros
Libby's background is still unknown. She appeared briefly at a mental asylum, where Hurley was being treated, as a patient in the latest flashback featuring Hurley, and was seen giving a boat to Desmond in a flashback so that he could complete his race around the world.
She told other survivors that she was a clinical psychologist, but that remains to be seen.
Along with Ana-Lucia, Eko and Bernard, Libby survived the crash of the tail section of Flight 815. She and the other "Tailies" managed to stay alive for more than 40 days while being attacked by the Others.
Libby and Hurley were slowly developing a relationship, but that was cut short when she surprised a treachorous survivor in the hatch. Having been shot in the stomach, the only thing that could be done for her was to ease her suffering.
Libby manages to speak the name of her killer before she dies, but because of misunderstanding, it was overlooked until it was too late. |
