It was FUCKING awesome. Soooo much action and a several revelations, and plenty of wow moments. Great stuff!

So, what the hell was up with the morse code message? How could the doctor be fine? Are they further back in time by enough time for him to still be alive on the boat? I had thought the island was slower in time, but maybe it's ahead. Either way, it's mind-bending.

I love how Sawyer has now become Claire's big brother.

And next week Jack gets appendicitis, according to the teaser for next week's episode. I mean, we know he's not gonna die since he exists in the future.

Any episode with Ben killing people is good with me. And then we get to see him "unleash" the smoke monster! How KICK ASS was that?

Hmmmm...you're unarmed, people are firing guns and blowing up houses...why not run outside and see what's going on? Silly "log carriers" don't you know you're an expendable bit player with no name (though names don't always save your kind...see Paolo and Nikki)

A lot of questions answered not that we didn't know it till now. Ben is a heartless sob, he did nothing to save his daughter. Why must he live? Why!!!!!

Sawyer is a repressed hero underneath that criminal exterior he knows about the right thing. It's too bad it wasn't Charlie saving Claire.

To his defence and of what we were inferred through this episode, he thought the island would protect her. BUT like Ben's said, Charles Widmore changed/broke the rules. the rules being ???? ... who know?

Now that his purpose in life was fulfilled, killing the real Sawyer, maybe we'll see more of this side.
Also, I thought in my head that Clair, at the moment of the missile going through, may of seen a vision of Charlie warning her or something like that? At the part when she woke up and thought Sawyer was Charlie.

Yeah, I don't think it's fair to say he did nothing to prevent his daughter's death. Like Anthony said, either he thought the island would protect her or he thought he could smooth talk his daughter safely out of the situation. He's certainly good at talking to people and getting them to do what he wants, so who knows. It seemed to have failed him for once.
