Dead Lucky - Recap

The scene opens with Bo and Dyson getting what they „need” at the station and Bo asks what he wants for Breakfast. He tells that there are some rules. They work out the details and Dyson offers to take her home. She tells that she can take care of her self. She goes out and is accosted by three men who tell her to get in the van. She kicks one of the men in the groin and the other two pull out guns. They order her into the van. Meanwhile, Kenzie meets with a potential client that has someone trying to kill her. The name of the killer is Ms. Snikerpants and it is her cat. The woman tells that she has already been to the police and they think that she is crazy. She shows a roll of money and Kenzie decides to try to help her but she is still waiting for Bo to show up.

Bo gets escorted to a Chinese restaurant and meets up with Myers, a Luck Faye. He tells that he want to hire her to find out what she can on Roger, a human that took money from him somehow. He tells that he is Dark Faye and that Demorigan wants to know what is going on too or she will get rid of him. He tells that he sucked all the Luck from him, so it doesn’t make sense why he would have won the bet. Myers tells Bo that if she helps him, he will give her 15 minutes with his Niece, Cassie. He tells that she is a true Oracle and can tell Bo about her past and future. Cassie comes out and she is not the typical person Bo was expecting. Cassie has a Valley Girl persona. Back at the restaurant where Kenzie is at, and she is trying to get a hold of Bo. The woman interested in their services is getting tired of waiting and tells that she will hire a different Private Investigator and leaves. Meanwhile, Bo gets a reading from Cassie and she sees into her past when she was 18 and where she killed her boyfriend. Cassie tells Bo that she ran and she is still running away. Cassie comes out of the trance and Bo believes her. She takes the job.

Bo goes back home and Kenzie is mad that she missed the appointment that Kenzie took the time to make sure that it was in her phone, calendar and reminded her. Bo apologizes and tells that she needs to go talk to Dyson. She arrives at the station to get information on Roger. He helps her out and Kenzie is less then thrilled that Bo is friends with him. Kenzie tells that she is no longer on Team Dyson and that she is only with Bo on it. They arrive at the home of Roger and there is a party going on. A woman answers the door and invites them in. They soon realize that it is not a party, but a funeral. They ask when he died and the woman says that he died 2 days ago. The gambling scam happened last night. Kenzie and Bo go to the bar and Trick tells that it is a Hsien, a body-jumper that can jump by touching recently dead people. Dyson and Mob enter the bar and Bo talks to him and he tells that he knows one. As they leave, Mob talks to Kenzie and tells that she is going to have to stick up for herself if she is going to be able to make a name for herself. She tells that she will be alright and that she is doing just fine.

Bo and Dyson go to a morgue and find a woman covered in blood dancing around. Dyson addresses her as Eddie and he tells that he was just having fun. He goes back to his original body and tells that he has not jumped into any bodies besides these. However, he has heard that Lucas was in town. Lucas is a Dark Faye that everyone hates. Bo reports back to Mayer and tells that it is a Hsien. Meyers is disgusted and tells that he wants to give the address to some illegal gambling. At the apartment, the two girls pick out their outfits that they are going to wear to the underground gambling party. They arrive and Kenzie is already pointing out the different bluffing signs that the players at the table have. Bo tells that she is going to find Jesper, the owner of the underground event. She finds him easily and starts flirting while Kenzie makes it to the table and helps an old man know the bluffing signs. Inside a room, Bo starts to get “physical” with Jesper and he tells that he knows who she is. He tells that her powers are not that strong yet and that he can resist her Succubus powers. He pins her to the table and stabs her with ice that comes from his thumbs. She is slowly freezing to death when Kenzie comes in to save the day.

They go to the bar and find Dyson there. Dyson takes her to a room and looks at her wounds. He tells that she was attacked by a Frost Giant. He starts to get naked and he tells her to take as much as she needs. Kenzie and Mob are outside the room and there is moaning from the other room and banging against the walls. They try to talk about something else when Trick comes in. He asks if his Troll got out again and Kenzie tells that Bo needed some “healing”. Dyson comes out stumbling and a refreshed Bo comes out smiling. Dyson sees that Trick knows about the arrangement now. They tell that they need to find Lucas now. Dyson gets an emergency call from an excited Eddie and he is cut off. As they leave, Mob laughs and tells that Kenzie is left out again. She tells that she is going to do some investigating on her own. Kenzie goes to see that Meyer’s Nephew gets out of a car and she pops open the trunk to find something interesting, but she is suddenly made to pass out.

Bo and Dyson arrive at the morgue where Eddie works and Eddie comes out and tells that everything is fine. However, when Bo sees that blood is coming out of Eddie’s leg, she knows that it is not Eddie, but Lucas. He pushes Dyson in a cooler and runs. Bo catches up while Dyson tries to get out. As Lucas is touching one dead person after another, he finally gets to a strong one and pins Bo down again. Inside the cooler, Dyson goes part wolf and manages to break down the door and put a gun to Lucas’ head. He tells that he was working for someone who forced him into Roger’s corpse and that he has been making sure that Meyers loses. They take him to Meyers and Lucas reveals that it is Myers’ Nephew. He is outraged and Dyson allows Lucas to get his original body back that is in the back trunk of Myers’ Nephew’s car. He finds that Kenzie is inside too, tied up. She tells that she doesn’t want Bo to know and Dyson keeps her secret. Bo gets read by Cassie again and this time she reads her present and future. She tells that he mother is alive and that she is coming. She tells that Bo will be the center of a big fight, an epic one. After the reading Kenzie tells that it is best not to know, but Bo tells that her mother is still alive.
