* A dummy out of an old jacket, life jackets, a wooden board, and a fishing net handle, to draw enemy fire
* Fishing line spliced into a rope and attached to the starter of an engine, to activate it from a distance
* A can of gas with an oil-soaked rag as a fuse, burning slow enough to get clear
* Methane gas inside of bamboo stalks to make explosives, with mud to block the ends and a stalk as a fuse
