Mad Love is a comedy about two couples, Ben and Kate who meet and fall in love, and their best friends Larry and Connie who despise each other at the beginning, but slowly realize they have mixed feelings about each other.

1x13: After The Fireworks recap: The scene opens with Ben and Larry on the top of the Empire State Building and tells Larry that he is going to ask Kate to move in with him. Ben says that he is ready for Phase Two and tells that if everything goes well, he will propose. Larry tells that he needs to have a Spring Wedding. Meanwhile, Kate comes up to Connie and tells that she ran into Tom Stevens, an old High School boyfriend. Connie tells that she had dinner with her dad and Penny, he soon-to-be mother-in-law. She tells that she doesn’t get along with Penny too well because of her rude comments to Connie. However, Connie says that she makes her dad happy. She suggests that she take someone she doesn’t like to the wedding and suggests Larry. Ben and Larry come up and Kate asks if Larry wants to go to a wedding with Connie. 1x12: Friends recap: The scene opens with Ben, Larry, Connie and Kate eating Nachos. Larry says that he is going to get with Tiffany now that she is single and Connie laughs and says that she has to be there for that. Kate tells Larry to give Tiffany time to recover and Connie says that she didn’t see this coming. Larry says that Bernie is gay and that is why he is leaving. Tiffany comes into the bar and says that she is leaving New York and moving to Florida with her friends. Larry is upset and says that she needs to stay in New York. She says that her mind is made up and Larry gets up and leaves in a fit. The next day, Larry goes into Ben’s office and asks what weight belt he wants and says that he volunteered Ben and him to help Tiffany pack. He says that it is all about Larry Munch’s three pronged strategy. First, the batting cases, next romantic stroll and third, sex. 1x11: The Secret Life Of Larry recap: The scene opens with Kate asking Ben what kind of cake he wants for winning the 30th case in a row. Larry reminds Ben that he could lose it because of his cocky attitude. Connie comes up and says that the publisher likes her idea of a book about a girl who kisses frogs, but meets a boy who was a gardener and falls in love. Larry tells that it is lame and says that no one likes a modern fairy tale. Connie says that she got some good pictures of Central Park to show and the publisher loved them. Larry tells that he can take the camera and print out the pictures for her. He says that he is really smart with computers and says that he will have it back to her tonight. 1x10: The Young And The Reckless recap: The scene opens with Kate telling Ben that she doesn’t want to go back to work and Ben tells that they should go to Coney Island and she agrees to go. Later Kate goes to Tiffany’s and tells that she puked on Ben going on the Scrambler. Connie tells that she has a meeting with a publicist and Kate tells that when she is done with her meeting she and Connie will go out for drinks to celebrate. Tiffany tells that she is taking the kids with Connie there and says that they can take her car. Tiffany says that they will be in reception. Meanwhile, Ben is practicing his speech and Larry comes in and Ben tells that he is going to give the biggest speech and Larry says that he is going after Waterman. Kate calls and tells that she wants to steal him away for an hour and he agrees. 1x9: Pub Quiz recap: The scene opens with Larry having Kate quiz him for Pub Quiz coming up and he is taking it serious. Connie comes by and complains about her back. A waitress comes by and asks what they want. Larry tries to act suave and tells that he will take a beer. The waitress asks for Kate’s ID and she blushes. Connie tells that she will take a beer too and the waitress tells that she saw her, but doesn’t card her. Ben comes up and Larry tells that they are going to Pub Quiz and win for the 5th year in a row. Ben tells that he has some news though. He tells that Nat Sacks wants to meet with them and ask them a few questions and Larry is not happy about it and tells that he is flaky. Ben tells that Nat told him that the meeting is going to be short. They are meeting with him at 2pm and the Pub Quiz is at 7pm. However, it is 5pm and they are still meeting with him.
