Pub Quiz - Recap

The scene opens with Larry having Kate quiz him for Pub Quiz coming up and he is taking it serious. Connie comes by and complains about her back. A waitress comes by and asks what they want. Larry tries to act suave and tells that he will take a beer. The waitress asks for Kate’s ID and she blushes. Connie tells that she will take a beer too and the waitress tells that she saw her, but doesn’t card her. Ben comes up and Larry tells that they are going to Pub Quiz and win for the 5th year in a row. Ben tells that he has some news though. He tells that Nat Sacks wants to meet with them and ask them a few questions and Larry is not happy about it and tells that he is flaky. Ben tells that Nat told him that the meeting is going to be short. They are meeting with him at 2pm and the Pub Quiz is at 7pm. However, it is 5pm and they are still meeting with him. Nat tells that he can’t think in the stuffy office and takes the meeting to his hot tub. He asks if there is anywhere they’d rather be. Larry tries to tell that there is, but Ben pinches him.

In the hot tub, Ben tries to talk business with Nat and he tells that he is getting out for something and shows Larry and Ben that he is not wearing anything in the hot tub. Larry tells that they need to go, but Ben tells that they are close to signing and tells him to enjoy the free food. Larry tells that he is going to fake a chlorine allergy and puke in the hot tub. Meanwhile, Connie and Kate are at the spa and Connie is not sure about the experience. Kate tells that Terry is the best. Connie thinks that it is a girl, but it is a male masseuse. He tells her to disrobe and lie down. However, she doesn’t feel comfortable about it and lies down in her robe. Terry comes back in and tells that she has seen many things and Connie has nothing to worry about. She agrees to take the robe off. Back at the hot tub, Larry is trying to puke, but it is not working. Ben tries to give the presentation, but Nat tells that he just wants to get to know them and asks where they would be right now. Larry tells that they would be at the Pub Quiz and Nat says that sounds interesting and says that he is in.

Back at the Spa, Connie tells that her back feels great now and Terry said that she has porcelain skin. At the Pub Quiz they begin the quiz and the first question is “What does HTML stand for?” Ben and Larry realize that Nat is an internet genius and ask him. However, he is not happy at where they are. He tells that it starts with an “H”. However, Ben remembers it and answers it correctly. Back at the Spa, Kate is in with Terry and she is trying to get Terry to compliment her skin, but instead he tells that she has a hair growing out of her chin. Back at the Pub Quiz, Nat is not having fun and tells that they need to leave and Larry tells that they are in the lead. Ben tells Larry that they should wrap it up and can make it up. Nat tells that he is leaving and Larry is trying to remember the answer to the question that was asked. Nat tells the wrong answer on purpose and Larry tells him to leave them and Nat tells that he is going to call up their bosses and let them know how the meeting went.

The next day, Ben goes to the café and tells Larry that he got off the phone with the partners and they wanted to know what Nat Sacks wouldn’t sign. He tells that they are supposed to be a team. Larry tells that he is bad news. Ben tells that he is going to finish the job and not go to the Pub Quiz. At Kate and Connie’s place, Connie tells that they need to go to the “Young Persons” party. However, Kate tells that she doesn’t want to go. Connie tells that she is jealous that Connie got the compliment and not Kate. Ben meets with Nat and says that he apologizes to him about Larry and tells that he is not really his partner. Nat tells that he can do business with Ben and Ben tells that he has the documents. However, Nat tells that he wants to go to a few clubs first and meet some women, but Ben tells Nat that he is tired of clubs and hot tub meetings and says that he can either sign or not.

Connie and Kate get to the club and realize that they are going to have a fun time. However, moments later, they come out and complain about the loud music and sticky. Kate and Connie agree to go back to their old bar. Meanwhile, Larry is missing question after question. However, Ben comes in and says that he was right about Nat Sacks and “Team Shaboom” is back. Connie and Kate come in and Ben tells that they look like a couple of 20-year-old floosies and they are flattered. However when Larry tells them that they look like a couple of tramps, they get offended. The episode ends.
