Mad Men

Mad Men is a smart and cinematic drama about the professional lives, social mores and sexual exploits of advertising executives on Madison Avenue circa 1960, when the industry was at its height of glamour, power, and prestige. The setting is the Sterling Cooper agency, which sells everything from cigarettes to political candidates. 7x3: Field Trip recap: Don sits in a movie theater by himself. He returns home and calls Dawn to ask her to pick some things up for him. She says she's busy and can't come over. Allan Silver is the only person who called but Dawn's too busy to call him. Don hangs up when she asks him to go on hold and calls Silver himself. Silver tells him that Megan has been going too far in trying to get jobs. He wants Don to try and get her to relax because otherwise she's doing fine... read more.

7x2: A Day's Work recap: Don wakes up after noon and eats junk food while watching television. He cleans himself and his apartment up by eight when Dawn Chambers arrives. She gives him his papers for the day and he asks about Lou. He asks her some questions about work but she isn't sure of the answers.
