Host R. Lee Ermey answers viewer mail on all questions related to warfare and weaponry. While he has been retired from the United States Marine Core for quite some time, R. Lee Ermey is able to gain access to military locations and weaponry through his position as a retired Gunnery Sergeant, in which he personally fires many weapons at watermelons in order to show the viewers at home what the weapon is capable of. However, much of the series relies on documentary footage and R. Lee Ermey’s narration in order to answer the questions that viewers have.
