Battle of the Flexes - Recap

Lauren is excited to learn that her grandmother is coming to town. She decides that this is quite the opportunity for her to actually destroy the relationship that her father is having with Chloe. She always wants to destroy things and make sure that people are hurt. She decides that they are going to have a family dinner and asks that Chloe and Emily join them. She also tells Chloe that things really are getting intense between her & Steve. Chloe is excited and wants to make sure that she impresses her boyfriend's mother so she comes and she looks extra nice, too. Lauren starts her nonsense by talking about the way that she and Emily live and really tries to embarrass her. Of course, she succeeds and Chloe runs off because of how hurt and embarrassed she is.

For once, someone has finally told her off. Her grandmother went off on her telling her that she lacked class and respect. Elsewhere, Peyson is still pretty sad about not being able to go onto the National team. She is avoiding everyone and even the gym. She was told that she needed to figure out where she is in the gymnastic world now that she is going through puberty. Her body is changing and she needs to get used to all of the changes. They think that she will be more artistic like Liukin if she does train in a different way to figure out what kind of gymnast she can become. She feels like her career is done, but eventually she is convinced by her mother and Sasha that her career really isn't over and she is now going to get back to the gym so that she can continue with her training.

Everyone is shocked when they learn that the famous Austin Tucker has been transferred to the Rock. It seems to be a way to distract everyone else and maybe even make a few people angry. They are going to have a pretty decent competition that is boys versus girls. Basically, the boys are going to do what the girls do and the girls are going to do what the boys do. They both prove that they are capable of doing exactly what the opposite genders can do but the boys do win the gym time. After some conversation, Austin decides that he is going to share and even make some compromises with Kaylie.
