And the Rocky Goes To - Recap

Emily has received her first check for her scholarship and her mother is happy as all get out. She hides something in her fridge and she is getting double what they got before. She looks in the freezer and got a gift from her mother which is a beautiful, customized leotard. She is happy because she has never had anything this nice. She thanks her mother and goes to get ready. Steve is donating his private label wine for the banquet the next night. He wants to buy some votes so he might as well donate something like that for their earnings. Summer liked Steve because he respected her religious beliefs. Sasha doesn't believe that marriage is a God given "bond", or in God at all. They seem to not agree on some fundamental basics. Becca does a fantastic trick and impresses her friend. Emily worries that she is going to get bullied since her and Lauren's parents are together now. She tries to be nice despite Lauren's snide comments. Their parents meet up and wonder how things are going since they are all out. They think that Lauren is going to come around. Lauren gives barrettes to the little girls so that she can get an award for congeniality.

Lauren thinks that she is spreading the love unlike the girls and their "clique". Lauren and the girls notice that Emily has a new leo that is custom made. Lauren says that they are fabrics that she couldn't even get her hands on and wonders how she got it. Emily says that she bought it with the money she got from being supported by Kittman's. Lauren seems to be a little jealous and a little in doubt in regards to the story. Sasha goes to Peyson and he is happy that she is trying to be a more artistic gymnast as opposed to the power moves that she used to have. They have to reinvent her from the ground up. He tells her that she needs to master the basics first. He wants to get her started at level one which infuriates her.

It is time for the eighth banquet for the Rock. Hayley's parents bring a bunch of pictures and they seem to be back together. Hayley thinks that it is only a matter of time. Peyson is having a hard time learning from the beginning because it is lower than her standards. She is upset that she has to learn as an artistic gymnast. Becca has a fantastic time doing what she needs to do while Peyson has to start at the beginning. Emily does a fantastic routine and Sasha takes note of her new leotard. Lauren says that everyone deserves a treat and they should go get a free smoothie. Emily wonders if she has poisoned them. Lauren is getting yelled at by her father for wanting to buy the love of the people there. He says he'll pay for the smoothies if she'll go and have ice cream with her mother and Emily. Lauren ends up spilling a smoothie right on Emily's new leotard which was white and definitely destroyed by the red smoothie.

Becca's sister is very proud of her and Lauren goes to meet up for school. Lauren's father heard Emily's mother call her a monster over the fact that she spilled the smoothie on her suit. They are angry at one another and seem to be competing now over which of their daughters will get the award for congeniality. Hayley is trying too hard and Lauren announces the fact that there is going to be a massage station outside after practice. Emily's mother says that there will be a gift outside which is free mani/pedi/waxing all afternoon. They obviously are trying to beat one another. Emily thinks she won't get the award and her mother is getting ridiculous. Chloe is going off about the fact that Lauren is totally a bully. She needs an example of "solid parenting" according to Summer. Hayley is freaking out since Sasha told her that someone else weighs less than her. She is overdoing it, but she is happy that they are back together.

Summer learns that the gym managers host the banquet because it is a tradition. She seems to have stage fright and she says that they should drink some Tanner wine. There is a raffle going on and Steve is still promoting himself with the campaign. He does it so that Lauren has a strong parent looking after her interests. He apologizes to Chloe about getting defensive about Lauren. They got them a great table and Haylie thinks that Summer has a fantastic dress on. Summer gives her a bit of a sloppy compliment since she is drinking wine. She needs to count the votes and she is drunk enough to knock her champagne over. Lauren's father tells her that he is going to take the box where it needs to go while she goes and cleans up her dress. Summer goes up to talk to everyone. She is definitely still drunk but at least she is doing a good job making everyone clap. The elite girls are offering a gift to Sasha and it seems that they have decided to sing a song to him. Lauren has won the award, obviously by the voting being rigged by her father. He then promotes himself so that he can lead the parent board. Everyone seems to be upset by the fact that he is selling himself during the speech. Kaylie got an MVP award and then finds out that her parents are filing for a divorce. She begs that they stay together but they really don't think that they can work it out.

Finally, the last award was given to Peyson and it is called the Peyson Wheeler Award and was made specifically for her.
