After failing to make an international hip-hop band on Making the Band 2, Diddy's at it again. Diddy is on a mission to form an all-female successful international group. He failed to make a group out of the batch of girls he had season one, so he had his crew scout the US to find new contestants. And season two, Diddy is determined to form a group. Throughout the seasons he had the girls sing a capella in Times Square, meet the Backstreet Boys, open for the Backstreet boys, meet Naomi Campbell, sing in the TRL Studio to find the perfect five girls to make the band. On December 8, 2005, Diddy formed a band consisting of Aubrey O'Day, Dawn Richard, Shannon Bex, Aundrea Fimbres, and Wanita Woodgette. During the third season the girls went into the studio and recorded their first album.
