Episode Notes |

When the series aired overseas, viewers were not treated to the first run versions. They saw the syndicated versions with scenes and music changed. | The unaired pilot version of Married...With Children has a lot of scenes and alternate takes that the aired pilot doesn't have:
1) Kelly Bundy was played by Tina Caspary in the pilot while Hunter Carson played Bud Bundy.
2) Kelly was originally supposed to be the smart, brunette virgin daughter while Bud was the dumb blond, sexually promiscuous son.
3) Al's friend, Ritch Shydner, had a major role in the pilot, and there was supposed to be a scene in the aired pilot where he tells Al about how he slept with a woman three hours before Al went into work.
4) A scene in the unaired pilot where Al tells his new neighbor Steve that PMS means "Pummel Men's Scrotums." According to the "E! True Hollywood Story" about the rise and fall of Married...With Children, this scene was one of the many times that the show writers would fight with the FOX censors over the show's crude, sexually charged humor. |
