In a quiet suburban home in a quiet suburban neighborhood, Harold Thompson is working his basement workshop. He dons a gas mask and then starts pouring acid over an elderly man's corpse, removing the flesh. An alarm goes off and Harold apologizes to "Dad," and takes a break for lunch. He notices a young couple moving in next door and they cheerfully wave to him. Back inside, Harold takes a lunch tray upstairs where he chats with his wife Jane and daughter Sarah: skeletons that he has dressed up and believes are alive...
