Before long, they are at a crime scene, where Ella has been shot by an unidentified man, and she is being taken to the hospital. She is too critical to testify anything. Sutton reports Good Samaritans heard the gunshot, but not a soul saw anything. Wittingly, Dwight picks up Ella’s purse, where he discovers that it can’t have been a robbery. Tanya has been busy sending men to detective squad number 3, when Reggie suggests they should hold some of them back at 7. Besides, it is raining heavily, and 7 needs some on traffic control. And now, he is about to lose his house. Dwight asks his name – Mark, he says. He is enraged, and isn’t stopping the violent wielding of his bat. However, he does calm down when Dwight talks him out of it – asking about his son, and whether he would behave the same way. Before long, he is handcuffed and taken away. When Dwight and Whitehead talk to the bank manager, he dissociates himself from the mortgage issue – it’s not this bank’s business... read more.
