Detective Dwight Hendricks is about to enter work. His girlfriend is dropping him of at work, and he bumps into a curious Reggie. Without letting on much, Hendricks and he keep walking towards the staff entrance door, when Whitehead buzzes Hendricks. Before long, they are at a crime scene, where Ella has been shot by an unidentified man, and she is being taken to the hospital. She is too critical to testify anything. Sutton reports Good Samaritans heard the gunshot, but not a soul saw anything. Wittingly, Dwight picks up Ella’s purse, where he discovers that it can’t have been a robbery. Whitehead points out looking at the pen that they should be asking at the company where she worked – Fairburn Financial. ..
