Metalocalypse is a fifteen-minute animated comedy on Adult Swim, created by Brendon Small, of Home Movies fame, and Tommy Blacha.

According to co-creator Brendon Small, "The show is basically about a (half-American/half Norwegian) metal band that is about a million times bigger than the Beatles. But a million times more dangerous and a millions times more stupid. This show promises violent murder. Violent violent murder. And metal."

Metalocalypse one of the better shows on CN!!!!Rating: 3 likes, 0 dislikes

Metalocalypse is probably one of the best shows on Cartoon Network strike that, it’s one of the better shows on TV. This show is totally unlike anything else on TV aside from IFC’s new ZRock comedy spoofing another rock group. What elevates Metalocalypse is a unique plot, bizarre, crazy characters, violence, action, and comedy. Also in terms of animation the animation for this show is very good. This doesn’t seem to be a big deal but in most of the other lesser CN shows which I think are crap but yet still produced “Assy McGee”, “Squidbillies”, “Minoriteam” which are just God awful and not very funny. In Metalocalypse you really don’t know what you will get. There is also a government agency that wants them dead how they thwart these attempts and their crazy fans is big part of how fun the show is. Read more

Booo! Somebody is screwing with the nature of the show. Still some expected, exaggerated , violent moments and witty dialogue but then - yes, somewhere, the nature of the chacters becomes different and the 'Feeling' of the show turns bitch, telletubby, not sure what it is, DIFFERENT. Booo! Read more

Jean Pier arrives at Dethklok’s dining room shaken and nervous to view the band as they are. Nathan looks at him while sipping his coffee. Nathan then asks the chief to approach him, and so the band asks if he knows the fate of the band’s previous chief. The band members explain to Jean Pier that all their chiefs have experienced horrible deaths while in service to Dethklok. Jean Pier replies that he’d rather die then not to serve with his “beloved” Dethklok. Just then a flock of doves fly directly into the helicopters blades and get ripped apart by them, causing the entire helicopter to stumble about. Jean Pier gets a nervous at that moment... read more.
