At the university, George Jeffers threatens to let everyone about a potentially dangerous software problem in a new air traffic control system. Clinton Finn puts the pressure on the university for them to keep him quiet as he fears he will loose a large amount of money. When local school teacher Emily Harte is killed by a driver who does not stop, Barnaby wonders if George was the intended target.
