Mission: Impossible: The Emerald

An arms dealer, Victor Tomar, gets hold of an emerald with a microdot stored on it, a microdot containing plans to wreck the U.S. economy. The Communist country which created the plan sends their top agent Yorgi Petrosian to recover the emerald while Tomar is en route to Tangier on a cruise ship. The IMF must get the emerald from Tomar and eliminate Petrosian.

Jim picks up his briefing at a photo booth and is informed that plans to devalue U.S. currency were stored on a microdot on an emerald. Victor Tomar, an arms dealer, has obtained the emerald but is unaware of the microdot. He is traveling to Tangiers aboard an ocean liner, the Queen of Suez. A Russian agent, Yorgi Petrosian, is also on board and has orders to get the emerald anyway he can. The IMF must stop Petrosian and recover the emerald...
