Episode Notes
Although not filmed first, this episode was selected to open the season because it features newcomer Leonard Nimoy in a major disguised role, and because it rather dismissively removes the female Cinnamon-replacement Lynn. By all accounts this was an attempt by executives to "prove" that the show could get by with Martin Landau and Barbara Bain, who they had allegedly fired the previous season.
Guest agent: Lynn, Young Man
Episode Quotes
Paris: (as El Leader) This is certainly different from our other meeting, eh? We were huddled together in the sugar cane fields, in the rain and the mud as I remember. Oh, I am happy to see that one of us has changed his way of living.
Vincente Bravo: You are not the man I remember.
Paris: And you have changed too. But then, ten years and all of the creature comforts, eh? They do alter a man.
Nikor Janos: You will be informed of the plan of the invasion, as soon as it is properly approved.
Paris: (as El Leader) And when will that be?
Nikor Janos: Soon.
Paris: Soon. Hmm. Nothing vague about that, eh?
Vincente Bravo: I did not think you were a man who compromised.
Paris: (as El Leader) Well, we all have to bend sometimes, eh? If it is to gain what we really want.
