<-- Previous EpisodeNext Episode -->
The scene opens with Phil and Luke coming into the kitchen and Luke is laughing hysterically. Claire asks what is going on and Luke tells that Phil said a funny joke. Claire hears the joke and thinks completely opposite and tells that she is laughing with her mouth but not with her eyes. Phil tells that he is hosting the SCARB (Southern California Annual Realtor Banquet) and Claire is not happy with the jokes and fears that he is going to embarrass himself. Meanwhile at Gloria and Jay’s home, Gloria tells that a quinceañera is being thrown for one of the daughters of Jay’s employee. Jay puts it off and tells that he will do what he always does and give them an Omaha Steak. Gloria tells that the quinceañera is a special time between a father and his daughter. He tells that he’ll go. Mitchell tells that Cameron has been working out except one issue. Cameron is wearing bicycle shorts that do not flatter him. He tells that he can’t tell him because he throws a fit.

Mitchell and Claire are at the gym and Mitchell is going “Troga” which is Treadmill Yoga. They tell each other the issues they have with their partners and Mitchell tells about a book where a woman had someone else kill another woman’s husband and vise versa. He suggest that Claire tell Cameron how awful the bicycle shorts are and Mitchell will tell Phil how awful the jokes are. Back at the house, Alex is on the phone with McKenzie, a popular girl, and Hailey asks who it is. Hailey tells that she was McKenzie when she was younger and that it is not going to happen to her sister. Hailey walks in Alex’s room and takes her phone and tells that she has given McKenzie too much power. McKenzie calls and Hailey tells that she is going to tell McKenzie that she is busy and that she will call her back.

Claire comes in to Cameron and tells that she wanted to drop off baby clothes for Lily and Cameron comes out in the shorts. Meanwhile, Mitchell comes over with some wine and asks if he has given thoughts of what he is going to say. Claire comes clean and about the shorts after Cameron doesn’t get it. Claire tells that she owes it to Cameron to be honest. He gets up and tells that he hears crying and goes in the room and cries. At Phil’s Mitchell sits down to hear Phil’s jokes and he doesn’t laugh, but after a few moments, he feels bad and starts to laugh. Jay, Manny and Gloria go to the quinceañera and Jay tells Manny that he will pay him $2 per introduction to be able to prove Gloria wrong about not knowing anyone. However, Gloria finds out that it is not a quinceañera they are at, but an engagement party. Cameron vents on Mitchell and walks away while Mitchell gets a call from Claire telling that Mitchell didn’t tell Phil that his jokes are bad. She demands her “murder” and he tells her that he told Claire to tell Cameron to take off the bike shorts, but he is still in them. However, Cameron hears Mitchell say this and runs off to the room and cries.

Claire decides to take matters into her own hands and takes the jokes at the party. At Mitchell and Cameron’s, Mitchell tries to apologize to Cameron and tells him to tell what he doesn’t like about him. Cameron tells that he never liked Mitchell’s beard. Mitchell goes to the bathroom and starts to shave it off. Cameron sees this as a sign of love and tells that he is forgiven. In Alex’s room, McKenzie tries calling and Alex is acting like she knows what to do and Haley is proud of her, but she messes it up when she tells that she is busy with homework and drops the phone and both girls scream. At the banquet, Phil can’t find his cards and he is called up to the stage. Turns out that he didn’t need them anyways and everyone laughs at Phil’s jokes. At the engagement party, the spotlight comes on and Jay thinks it is for him and the engaged couple get up to dance and Jay thinks it is the Daddy and Daughter dance, but when things get a little touchy, Jay is confused. Phil and Claire get home and Claire tells Phil that he was amazing. He tells that he knows that she took his cards. She tells that she is sorry and tells that her job is to make sure that everyone doesn’t fall on their faces. They turn on the light and they find Alex on the floor sad. She says that she has no friends. Claire cheers her up. At the end of the episode, Claire is trying her impressions and Phil tells that is not what she sounds like at all.
