Recap

The scene opens with Phil, Gloria and Mitchell talking on the phone wondering “did she see it”; Phil explains that Claire is contesting the town council elections, and there are some unflattering comments by voters about Claire, in the newspapers. Phil tries to be the ever supportive husband by clearing all the news-stands, and warning Mitchell to keep mum. Claire comes from behind Phil, hears about the poll and snatches the newspaper from his hand; she sees the article. Back at the Dunphy house, Claire is trying to convince the family and probably herself, that the article is no big deal. The family points out that she can be a little on the edge at time, Phil as usual is ever supportive...
