Movie actress Christine Rapp hires Monk to protect her against a killer who is targeting her because of the tell-all book she wrote. Monk is eager to be with her since she was the child star in his favorite boyhood TV show, The Cooper Clan. However, he soon realizes that Christine isn't the innocent girl of the TV show... and that everything isn't what she claims.
