Recap

Deacon informs Stottlemeyer that the officers found Jake's hat lodged beneath the seat in his wrecked car, and it has the volunteer list that Monk said would be there. Nicole Vasques' name is on it, and she didn't come up initially because she was a part-time volunteer who quit two months earlier. A depressed Stottlemeyer wonders how he can miss the things that Monk sees, but Deacon tells him that he's a better officer, and a better man, than Monk is. Stottlemeyer thanks him, but tells him they need to bring Monk back in on the case. Deacon informs him that Sharona quit and Monk has gone missing...

Episode Notes

Episode Quotes
Deacon: So Monk was right. There is a connection.
Stottlemeyer: How does he do it? I...I have two eyes, I see everything that he sees, but... I...I don't see what he sees.

Stottlemeyer: Sharona quit? You mean Monk's alone? Out there in public?

Sheldon Burger: Wow. These are really good. Did you make these?
Sharona: They're Oreos, Sheldon.
Sheldon Burger: They are?
Benjy: They say Oreos on them.
Sheldon Burger: Oh, yeah.

Adrian: That was our song.
Sharona: I'm sure she heard you.
Adrian: I don't see how. She's been dead for four years.

Sharona: How's it feel, always being right?
Adrian: Terrible.

Adrian: So you ever gonna tell me what kind of dancing you did in Atlantic City?
Sharona: Ballroom.
Adrian: Really?

Adrian: Unless I'm wrong, which, you know, I'm not, you were in Chicago.

Stottlemeyer: Who does she think she is?
Adrian: I don't know. Lois Lane.

Episode Goofs
In the scene where Monk and Sharona visit Trudy's grave, the shadow figure of a man can be seen kneeling behind another grave stone. He was a crew member and not an extra.
