Monk and Natalie are at a crime scene when Stottlemeyer arrives in his new car. Stottlemeyer is thrilled he's finally gotten the car of the dreams. Outside, Natalie tries to get hold of Julie but overhears another radio report about a Julie Teeger that has died in an accident. Natalie takes Stottlemeyer's car again and drives it through a creek to get to the park where the new body has been found: it's another woman, but not Natalie's daughter. Disher: Monk, I’ve got two ideas.
Stottlemeyer: Two ideas?
Disher: Which do you want first?
Stottlemeyer: The one that will make me less pissed off.
Adrian: At least I never dug Trudy up and had her stuffed and mounted, right.

Adrian: Thank you.
Natalie: Randy, I need to ask you a favor.
Disher: The answer’s yes.
Natalie: I need a gun.
Disher: The answer’s no.
Detective Jones: (about Disher) That’s a new low.
Stottlemeyer: Actually, it isn’t a new low. That’s the sad part.
