Monty Don's Italian Gardens sees Monty takes a look around some of Italy's most magnificent gardens, from the lavish hideaways of the South to the luxurious retreats in the North.

Monty finishes his adventure in the wealthy north of the country where the Veneto and Lucca, extravagant pleasure gardens were created for flirtation and fun. He then travels further north where he meets up with the garden society, the Grandi Giardini Italiani, to look over the fence at creations of the rich and famous.
