well I think I'll continue to watch after the pilot. It wasn't that bad. Let's see how this "love" story with Vampire and reporter lead next. |

it was a decent episode. it was anoying that my mom got anoyed that mick got dwned by silver bullets "your mixing your stories here" i decidedly did NOT try to argue with her that silver being a pure metal can be poisononus to any type of dark creature (heck, in one book eries im into, a demonologist says that demons and monsters cannot touch silver lest they get burned.)
i like the series, i just gotta ignore my moms commentary.  |

It was watchable. I thought the story had lots of potential but it could have been executed better.
Silver Bullets are poison but a vampire is technically already dead, so I don't get why that would hurt Mick that much. I mean it sting him or maybe I'am missing something.
For a guy that was behind bars and knew Mick's secret, the villain was dumb. He had numerous chances to expose him and didn't seem to take the chances.
And was that a vampire orgy in Mick's flashback? LOL. He seems to like preying on young girls or did these chicks want to be vampires too? |

well, like i said, i read in a newish book series by Katie Maxwell, and her rules for any monster is that silver effects any kind of monster, and thats why i got the silver bullets hurting mick. it wouldnt KILL him, but it'd slow him down. (its like when how the dude stuck a wood stake in mick. in normal lopre, that KILLS vampires, but here it just paralized mick. the vampire rules in this show are much diferent than the literary lore. such as mick CAN be in the sunlight, it just makes him very ill. |

He wasn't preying on young girls, the girls were there because Josef likes to feed on them and they do it willingly. There was one in the first episode when Mick visited Josef and he turned her down if I remember correctly. |
