So this was like a mafia type of story where a young girl is under protection and a couple of guys are trying to kill her?
I watched in and out and that's what I got. Then there's a dirty leak inside the police working against Beth's friend. Mick eventually finds the girl and they get trapped in the desert.
This sets up what is to come with him and Beth. It's interesting to see how they deal with vampires. There was a movie from 1987 called "Near Dark" with Lance Henriksen. If you haven't seen the movie don't read this next line:

Near the end of that movie, one of the characters dies in the sunlight near a farm. Mick immediately exposed to the sunlight here doesn't just burn up.
As somebody else said, I guess if there's one thing that this show has is creativity in not sticking to the traditional expectations we get from watching vampires die (stake through the heart doesn't kill Mick and now he can survive the sunlight and wouldn't just burn up).
Ask for the episode, it was ok. The previews gave a lot away of what's to come with Beth and Mick. It was watchable though. |

erm, ther e IS a spioler tag just put the word spoiler between 2 brckets [ ]
as for the show, it was a decent episode. sunlight to the vamps in this show is harmful, but they wont burst into flames. they'l just slowly bake, kinda like rotting food left out in the heat. |
