My Big Fat Greek Life

A little-watched CBS midseason comedy adapted from one of 2002's top-grossing films. Nia Vardalos reprised her starring role from `My Big Fat Greek Wedding,' her sleeper hit, in this sitcom about two newlyweds and the bride's large, loud and loving Greek-American family. Joining Vardalos (whose character's name changed from Toula to Nia) is the movie's core cast of actors as her relatives. The notable exception is John Corbett, who was replaced by Steven Eckholdt as Nia's non-Greek husband.
