Earl and Randy try to return a stolen wallet when they find out that taking the money cost two newlyweds their honeymoon. Not satisfied enough to cross this off his list, Earl decides that he must take over for the groom at his fast food restaurant job, which will allow the newlyweds to go on a proper vacation.
Earl discovers that his new boss is a complete jerk, so Randy and Catalina advise him not to put up with his bullying, but Earl can't jeopardize another man's job. When Earl sees the boss' opulent house and beautiful wife, he wonder why karma has been so good to the man despite his horrible personality.

That guy from U2 is their lead singer Bono. He is known for his political world views and his attempts at raising money for people all over the world.
| Randy: Bono was that guy from U2, Sonny Bono.
Sonny Bono is not in U2 and never has been. Sonny Bono was a 70's singer and variety show host with then wife, Cher. He later went into politics and became a Representative in Congress.
| Mr. Patrick: Hey Marlboro Man, why don't you trot on over here.
The Marlboro Man is the long standing symbol of the Marlboro brand cigarettes. He is a cowboy who is often portrayed riding on a horse.
| Randy: Say moose and squirrel.
Moose and squirrel is a reference to Bullwinkle and Rocky respectively. Rocky and Bullwinkle were first made famous in the 1959 animated show known in the US as 'Rocky & Bullwinkle & Friends'.
