Episode Quotes |

Joy: WHOA, WHOA,... what the hell are you doin'? Oh my god, you almost walked out in front of that truck.
Randy: Oh, I don't look where I'm goin'. It's kinda my thing. But just let me know if I'm about to walk into somthin'... like Earl does. | Glen Shipley: Make me a shiv.
Earl: A shiv, like a knife?
Glen Shipley: Or like a ice pick or an axe or a cheese slicer.... Surprise me. | (After getting yelled at by Joy.)
Randy: Is this because I peed on the kids? it was the middle of the night. I took a wrong turn. | Earl: I was familiar with the different types of shivs. There was the sharpened tooth brush, the razor comb, the tight-whitey-mighty-fighty, somehow made out of underwear. There was even one made out of soap.... I decided i was gonna make Glen's with an arm from a pair of glasses. I was gonna call it the peeper-reaper. | Glen Shipley: You really got a list of bad things you make up for?
Earl: Yeah, I even helped out a whole town of circus freaks.... Dammit, you're not suppose to call them freaks,... Irregular Americans. | Randy: My brain told my feet to stop and they did. My brain's never been smarter than my feet before. |

Randy: Do you know if that TV show, Riptide, is gonna be on tonight?
Riptide is an Action/Adventure/Drama from the mid-80's about 3 Vietnam vets that start their own P.I. business. They run it out of their boat and have the use of an old helicopter. | Randy: Oh wait, I think it's B.J. and the Bear.
B.J. and the Bear is a late-70's, early-80's action/adventure/comedy about a truck driver, B.J. and his pet monkey aptly named, Bear, getting into adventures, stopping bad guys, running from Sheriff Lobo, and enjoying all the pretty ladies that adorned the show. | Joy: I saw that on M*A*S*H.
M*A*S*H is a 70's and early-80's sitcom, with many dramatic moments, about a M*A*S*H unit serving in the Korean War. This critically acclaimed and award winning show was funny, socially conscious, and tear joking,... sometimes all at the same time. M*A*S*H was the first to wrap so many elements into a show and do well. | Joy: I'm proud of you, Randy. Now if we can just get you to stop walkin' around with your brother's shirt like a giant headed hillbilly Linus.
Linus is a character in the Peanuts comic strip and subsequent animated shows. He's a young boy who still carries around his baby blanket and sucks his thumb. |
