Most shows have a middle class family with three or so children and deals with their "dilemmas" every episode. What I love about My Name is Earl is that it's not the same standard show as everything else. It shows the dilemma of a lower-class man who relates more to the American public more than anyone else.
We all do cruel things to others and soon enough, the phrase "What goes around, comes around" starts to go through our heads. The main character Earl, basically shows what happens to us, or maybe should happen to us in the end. You can't always get what you want and get away with every thing. He also is one of the most unlikely role models of television. Basically to show everyone that you can fix your mistakes of the past. You can show everyone kindness in what you do.
I just recently got into this show myself and haven't been able to get enough of it! I had heard of the show a lot through commercials and ads on the internet and always thought they were funny. One day nothing was on and I watched it and it was a pleasant surprise for me. It's almost a breath of fresh air.
I think that people will be able to enjoy this show as much as I do.
