Miss Marple waits out a blizzard at the remote mansion, Sittaford House, owned by the esteemed politician Clive Trevelyan (Timothy Dalton). But death dwells in the long, snowy night when Mr. Trevelyan is found lifeless with a knife in his chest and a curious smile on his face.
