Now here's one of the funniest episodes of the show. I watched it, and I laughed so hard, I thought I would never stop. I LOVE the segment where Joel and the 'Bots sing that Idiot Control Now song.
As for the movie itself, it's a very terrible E.T. ripoff and actually wasn't supposed to be. I hear even the director, Juan Piquer Simon, hated it.
