Samantha Kinsey is a lifelong mystery fan having read just about every mystery book there is. She inherits a book store from her Uncle that sells only mystery books. She uses her expertise by reading all of these mysteries to solve real life crimes.
She does this with the help of her best friend Cassie Hillman, the Assistant district Attorney. Also helping is former CIA agent Ian Philby who has ties to the intelligence community. She is also both a help to and an annoyance to Chief Conners.
