In this episode, FBI Agent Fornell does not recognize NCIS Special Agent Gibbs, who pretends to be a part of Ducky's medical examination team. However, it is revealed later that Agent Fornell married Gibbs' second of four ex-wives. It is also mentioned that Gibbs had warned Fornell about his ex-wife and that Fornell thought Gibbs was exaggerating. Since Gibbs never gets married again during the course of the first six seasons, Fornell would have to have known Gibbs prior to this case.
