NFL Thursday Night Football: Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers

AFC North division rivals the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers meet on NFL Thursday Night Football at Heinz Field (8:20 pm ET, NFL Network).

NFL football odds at Legends sportsbook have the Steelers as a 14.5-point favorite while on the moneyline, Pittsburgh is a -750 favorite and Cleveland a +600 underdog. The over/under total is at 39.

This game is very much a mismatch, as it pits one of the National Football League’s worst offenses against one of the league’s best defenses. Cleveland is ranked No. 28 on offense, averaging just 14.6 points per game, while Pittsburgh’s defense is ranked No. 4, allowing just 16.3 points per game.

The Browns are 4-8 straight up and 4-6-2 against the spread this season and are coming off a 24-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. They failed to cover as a 7-point home underdog and the score was under the total of 38.5.

The Steelers are 9-3 SU and 6-6 ATS this year. Pittsburgh beat the Cincinnati Bengals 35-7 on Sunday, covering the spread as a 7-point home favorite. The score was under the total of 43.5.

Head-to-head, the Steelers are a near-perfect 9-1 straight up in the past 10 meetings but are a very average 5-4-1 against the point spread in those games. The teams have not yet squared off previously this season. Pittsburgh easily won the two meetings last season, winning 41-9 on Jan. 2, when the Steelers cashed as a 6.5-point road favorite, and also winning 28-10 on Oct. 17, covering the spread as a 14-point home favorite.
