Sipowicz and Sorenson get a call to a hotel, where a female guest has been beaten and raped. Her sister and brother assist the detectives in the search for the rapist. Later that same day, another guest, at the same hotel, is found beaten and killed. A uniformed officer recognizes the dead man and Jones and Medavoy interview the man's unusual acquaintances.
