The day of the all-important final examination is at hand. If Naruto manages to pass this final test, he will become an official ninja.
Meanwhile, a Chuunin called Mizuka is planning to use Naruto in his scheme to steal the important Scroll of Sealing.

But if only it were that easy. If they fail this test, they will be sent back to the academy.. and to make matters worse, only 9 out of 27 graduates who take the test will become Gennins, official lower class ninjas!

They have almost reached their destination when suddenly, they're attacked by a ninja wielding a giant blade. He seems to be an enemy of such calibre, that Kakashi finally has to reveal what is so special about his left eye.
