Naruto and Sakura help out the girl that attacked them earlier. Her name is Sasame and she's a member of the Fuuma clan. She tells them how Fuuma clan had to abandon their village and become Orochimaru's subordinates. Some members of the clan refused to join Orochimaru's forces and had to become thieves to survive. Meanwhile, Jiraiya meets some of these ex-Fuuma clan members when a group of them tries to rob him. Naruto, Sakura and Sasame are attacked by three ninjas.
